RECIPE:
- 8 sliced apples
- ¾ cups flour
- 1-cup sugar
- ¼ tsp. cinnamon
- 7 tbsp. butter
Instructions: Peel and slice apples. Layer them evenly across a glass-baking dish. Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon and butter to form crumbs. Spread crumbs over the apples. Pour ½ cup water in the corners of the pan to keep apples moist. Bake at 425 degrees for 30 -35 minutes. Serve warm.
Comments: You can use any apples with this recipe; I use red Macintosh because those are the ones my kids like the most. If you use green apples add more sugar to the recipe to balance it out. Serve warm with ice cream or carnation milk.
